Laura Dern Claims The Bradley Cooper Dating Rumors Are Untrue

According to a report from Us Magazine, Laura Dern recently dished on her relationship with Bradley Cooper, and how they’re merely friends in a platonic way. The 52-year-old said to Us Weekly at LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade event that she and Brad were “amazing friends,” and “we’re family.”

Fans of Bradley know she and the A Star Is Born star were spotted having dinner together in NYC back in June of this year not long after he and Irina Shayk had split up. While Laura could be annoyed about the rumors, she actually thinks it’s fine that people are curious about him.

Laura said to the outlet that people are always going to be interested in Bradley because “he’s the greatest human,” and one of her best friends on the planet. “I don’t blame anyone for having deep curiosity” about Bradley, the actress stated.

The pictures of the pair hanging out came right after Us Magazine confirmed that Bradley and Shayk had called it off for good around two years after they had their first child together, Lea De Seine. As it was previously reported, Bradley and the supermodel, Irina, split up after dating for several years.

At the time, fans were wholly convinced that Bradley was cheating on Irina with Lady Gaga, who he co-starred with in the Academy Award-winning picture, A Star Is Born. Bradley performed with Lady Gaga at the Oscars as well, and fans truly believed there was something romantic going on between them.

The rumors and social media speculation became so intense that Lady Gaga even had to address them directly, stating that the perception of a strong romance was purposely curated so the movie would actually do well.

Regardless, when the paparazzi snapped a photo of Bradley with the much-older, Laura Dern, some people believed they were dating. Regarding her new show, Big Little Lies, the star said she was thrilled to be working with such an amazing group of people.

Laura explained that she and her other co-stars “love each other,” and everything was working out great.
