Lauren London vows to ‘stay strong’ for her and Nipsey Hussle’s son, Kross, in the aftermath of the rapper’s passing. The touching message comes three months after Nipsey was gunned down, leaving the 2 year old child without a father.

The day before, Lauren had also helped pay tribute to the beloved star at the BET Awards.

So, yesterday, she took to her social media platform of choice to share a pic of her holding her son on stage at the event as he was cutely resting his head on his mother’s shoulder.

In the caption, the actress wrote: ‘I’m going to stand strong so you can always lean on me. #GodGotUs #NipHussleTheGreat.’

As fans remember, Nipsey, who was no older than 33, got shot and killed outside his own store in Los Angeles, The Marathon Clothing, back on March 31.

On June 23, he received a humanitarian award posthumously and his family was there to receive it in his name.

Furthermore, there was also a touching musical tribute dedicated to him that featured DJ Khaled, John Legend and Marsha Ambrosius.

Lauren addressed the crowd briefly, saying: ‘Thank you guys for all the love and support. The Marathon continues, again.’

Ever since the tragedy happened, Lauren has been pretty vocal on social media when it comes to her loss.

That being said, Lauren would pay tribute to the father of her child very often, including on Father’s Day when she posted a pic featuring the three of them – Lauren, Nipsey and their son, Kross.

‘One of the reasons I fell in Love with You…. Your Fatherhood. Today we celebrate You. Love you Ermias 💙,’ she wrote alongside it.
