Lea Michele is again under fire and deleted her Twitter account over the weekend, as reported by Dylan Fisher. Lea has been slammed with negative comments since her former Glee co-star, Naya Rivera went missing on July 8, 2020, from Lake Piru in California, after she went boating with her four-year-old son, Josey Dorsey. Naya hasn’t been seen since Josey told authorities in a grueling and difficult interview that his mother went into the lake to swim and never came back up. As Naya’s former co-stars continue to speak out and offer their support, Lea has been silent and Lea is getting plenty of attacks for not lending her voice to those praying for a miracle and hoping that Naya is found safe.
On Saturday night, people attacked Lea online with cruel comments including messages saying that she should be the one missing or presumed dead instead of Naya. Others brought up recent allegations of Lea’s behavior on the Glee set and said that Naya spoke about the tension between the two when they worked on Glee.
While many attacked Lea, prompting her to delete her Twitter account some are asking if her Instagram account is next to go. At this point, Lea’s Instagram is still online and she still has comments open on her posts. The negative comments are pouring in on Instagram and some think it’s only a matter of time before her Instagram is gone too.
One person left this comment on Twitter regarding the situation.
“I don’t support Lea Michele’s past behavior at any point, but filling her social media with comments like “it should’ve been you” or “it’s your fault” to the point that she deactivated it’s cruel and gross and you should be ashamed if you left a similar comment.”
Lea Michele is almost at full term of her pregnancy, has PCOS, is days away from the anniversary of the death of her boyfriend and y’all told her you wished she was dead or disappeared instead of Naya so much that she deactivated her social media. I hate you all so much.

What do you think about Lea Michele deleting her Twitter account? Do you think people are justified in leaving their comments or do you think they should back off and leave Lea alone?
