During his appearence on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week, the basketball legend, Dwayne Wade, revealed that his 12-year-old was coming out as transgender. BET claims Wade and Gabrielle Union have been on the receiving end of support ever since Dwayne made the revelation.

Lil Nas X, the “Old Town Road” rapper, is just one among many other celebrities who also offered support. During a conversation with TMZ, the rapper stated that he thought getting support from one’s parents was especially important.

When asked for advice on what he would say to Zaya, Lil Nas X stated that it was crucial to “stay strong,” because there are going to be tough times ahead. On her social media, Zaya shared that to her, it seemed stupid to not be truly who she is.

Fans of Dwayne Wade know that he has two sons, a 6-year-old named Xavier and an 18-year-old named Zaire. Back in November of 2018, Union and Wade had their first baby together, Kaavia James, with the help of surrogacy.

Zaire Wade shouted out to Zaya on Instagram, stating that it didn’t matter what anyone had to say about it. Earlier this year, Lil Nas X dealt with his own problems on social media, when Pastor Troy slammed the Grammys for giving him awards.

Regardless of whatever blowback the young rapper has received, one thing is clear: the Cyrus family has his back. Back on the 1st of February 2020, it was reported by multiple outlets that Billy Ray Cyrus shouted out to Lil Nas X, and said he was like family to them.

A report from Us Magazine claimed that the 58-year-old made his comments to them in a January interview. Cyrus added that he and his family cared and loved for Lil Nas X so much. Additionally, Cyrus expressed gratitude to the young rapper for his contributions to the music scene.
