Gunner Stahl took to his social media in recent news to say that he didn’t like deluxe albums that much. The photographer reportedly claimed that deluxe albums were having a negative impact on the music industry and the art form in general.

Lil Uzi Vert has supposedly taken credit for the trend, Hot New Hip Hop reported, arguing that his record, Eternal Atake, is the one that pushed other rappers to do the same thing. Additionally, Uzi Vert has released other projects right after a new LP, which is a new way of promoting an artist’s work.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, a deluxe version of Pluto x Baby Pluto was released just a few days after the original record, and Gunner Stahl let the world know that he wasn’t happy with records of the same type, however, he never revealed which artist he didn’t approve of. Lil Uzi Vert wasn’t pleased with his remarks either.

On his Twitter account, Lil Uzi Vert wrote, “new b*tch coming soon, Omg, can’t wait 2 flick it up.” The rapper went on to share a picture of a camera as if he was about to become a photographer.

Lil Uzi Vert appeared to mock the profession, saying how he wanted to show the “world what he could do” just by pressing a button.

Gunner Stahl then responded by claiming they knew each other in real life, and he asked how it managed to get so tense and heated so fast. Stahl asked Lil Uzi Vert to come to the Ritz-Carlton, and it turns out that he did while at the same time providing photographic evidence.

Gunner Stahl said in his tweet that he wasn’t even talking about him when he released the post. Gunner never revealed who he trashed on social media, but Uzi Vert has reportedly taken the deluxe trend seriously, so it makes sense that he got mad.

Either way, the phenomenon of releasing digital albums alongside other items has been controversial as well, including when Tekashi 6ix9ine claimed many of his sales were being disqualified because they were included as part of bundles.
