Lil Wayne might have disappointed some fans when he canceled his scheduled performance at Rolling Loud Miami. He refused to get checked by the festival security.
Billboard pointed out that Lil Wayne was supposed to take the headlining slot on the Audiomack Stage at 10:55 p.m. but he called off the set.
This happened because the festival security made it mandatory for him to get checked.
‘To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job,’ Lil Wayne posted on Twitter.
He continued and said ‘and give you guys a great show. I will be at Story tonight for the afterparty and you kan katch me on tour with my bros Blink 182 this summer! 🤙🏾’

Someone said ‘Rolling loud should’ve known better lol. We all know you don’t do police checks.’
Another follower posted ‘Fu*k them for trying to keep other people safe, right!?’
One person responded ‘Yeah because Lil Wayne is really going to bring something that would put the crowd in danger.. lol give me a break.’
The previous follower made things clear and said ‘I didn’t mean Lil Wayne specifically. It wasn’t JUST him they checked. They’re just trying to keep dangerous shit out of the festival.’
What do you think about Lil Wayne’s gesture?
