Logan Paul is not only a celebrity but also a fellow YouTuber, so when he weighed in on the current outrage against Brooke Hoult, who was caught on tape allegedly abusing her dog, people listened. Logan used his official Twitter account to sound off about the video that shows Brooke hitting, spitting, and wrestling her dog to the floor. It is believed Brooke accidentally uploaded the raw video when she had intended to upload an edited prank video. Logan Paul is an avid dog lover and frequently shares photos of himself with his pets on his social media sites. He did not hold back on his feelings after seeing Brooke Houts video and said that she was completely unfit to own that dog (Sphinx).
In a now-viral Twitter thread, Logan expressed his personal disgust and outrage after seeing the viral video that shows Brooke allegedly abusing the dog. The video has sparked national outrage as millions have watched the clip and said that she committed animal abuse. Countless people who watched the video contacted the LAPD’s Animal Cruelty Task Force to report the acts and according to a report by The Verge, there is an open investigation into the case.
The Verge reported the following.
“Our Animal Cruelty Task Force has received numerous complaints about the video and we are currently looking into the matter.”
Logan Paul didn’t just tweet one message weighing in on the case but tweeted a thread that has more than 20,000 likes.
You may see that thread along with the video that Brooke Houts uploaded to her channel below.
i try my best to avoid slamming people on twitter because i know what it’s like to be on the receiving end (and rightfully so), but this video of that girl hitting & spitting on her dog is remarkably grotesque, and irks me for many reasons:

Logan Paul stated the following in two additional tweets in the thread.
“1.) im terrified by the on-camera personality shift she puts on when she’s “performing” … one thing ive always tried to do is be authentic, sometimes too authentic, and i’d bet an unhealthy amount of creators wear a mask just as ugly. 2.) discipline your animals should they misbehave. i get it. but despite the hitting, the spitting is a totally unwarranted, inappropriate, and vile display of energy that makes this woman completely unfit to own that dog.”
What do you think about the Brooke Houts’ video and controversy? Do you agree with Logan Paul? Do you think Brooke is unfit to own Sphinx or any other dog?
