Lori Harvey Officially Charged In Hit-And-Run Case

Steve Harvey’s stepdaughter, Lori Harvey, may be enjoying a vacation in Jamaica with her rumored new boyfriend Future. But, prosecutors in Los Angeles are ready to hold her accountable for an October car accident that she tried to run away from.

According to TMZ, prosecutors have charged Lori with one count of resisting/delaying/obstructing a peace officer and one count of hit-and-run that resulted in some serious property damage. Both charges are misdemeanors, and the expectation is that the 22-year-old will be arraigned later this month.

Lori was involved in an automobile accident in late October and attempted to flee the scene. Her Mercedes G-Wagon was tipped over as a result of the accident, and a parked car was also damaged.

Luckily, no one was injured in the accident, but authorities have confirmed that Lori ran from the scene. Officers eventually apprehended her when she was walking down the street near the location of the accident.

Witnesses say that Lori was texting and driving before she crashed into a parked Prius.

Meanwhile, Lori and Future have been spending time together in Jamaica and posting about it on social media. The 36-year-old rapper kissed Lori on the cheek in a now-deleted Instagram Story, and she wrote “Life is good” in the video’s caption along with a diamond emoji.

Future also posted a pic on Instagram of the two hanging out in a pool. He added the same “life is good” phrase in his caption.

The couple first sparked dating rumors last month when Future posted a pic of Harvey on his Instagram Story. She was wearing a cropped top with black leather pants and a diamond chain, and over the photo Future wrote “Flawless.”

Lori attended Future’s all-white birthday party in Atlanta on November 20th. And, he posted a video of the two in his car not long after.

This supposed romance comes just after Lori ended her rumored relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. They supposedly broke up in October after she unfollowed the music mogul on Instagram.

Neither Lori Harvey nor Future have confirmed their relationship publicly, but their social media posts seem to speak for themselves.
