Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Giannulli Booted From Their Country Club

A new report from Page Six revealed that Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin were kicked out of their Bel-Air Country Club due to the allegations against them. As most know, Lori and her husband, Mossimo, have been in the headlines for over a year over their involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Reportedly, top members at the country club were apparently enraged over the fact Lori and Mossimo were still allowed there. Page Six spoke to a source who stated that the top-level individuals of the organization don’t want it to turn into a place of “refuge and comfort for known felons.”

TMZ says that Lori and Mossimo left the club this month, just a few weeks after they announced they were going to plead guilty to the charges against them. Lori and Mossimo have been accused of scamming their daughters’ way into the University of Southern California as crew team recruits.

According to Page Six, the club’s Board of Directors all agreed to have their memberships suspended, however, others were furious that they weren’t kicked out of the club permanently. Reportedly, one of these individuals was Michael Gallager, who said he was going to resign over the controversy.

He wrote a letter in which he said that the BACC was a club of “gentlemen and gentlewomen,” and not a place for felons to hang out. Gallager went on to say in the letter that their club has become a joke on account of Lori and Mossimo’s inclusion.

The news publication says that Giannulli and Lori, who apparently love to golf, were more than willing to leave the club. They didn’t want to cause any problems. As it was previously reported, Lori agreed to serve two months in prison and also pay a $150,000 fine.

Moreover, Lori has to serve 100 hours of community service, with her husband serving a similar sentence and a hefty fine. Reportedly, Lori and Mossimo pled guilty to the charges back on the 22nd of May.

As it was just noted, Mossimo, 56, agreed to plead guilty as well although he was hit with another count of honest services wire and mail fraud. Mossimo will serve approximately five months in prison and will also have to pay a $250,000 fine and serve 250 hours of community service.
