Barbara Kavovit is done after just one season on the Real Housewives of New York City, and Luann de Lesseps says Bravo has already cast her replacement. Could the new star of the show be Ramona Singer’s bestie Missy Pool?

Kavovit recently confirmed on Instagram that she wouldn’t be returning to RHONY for Season 12, which doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Kavovit was a friend of the cast – not a full-time cast member – and her main role was to be de Lesseps’ support system as she got sober.

Eventually, though, de Lesseps seemingly ditched Kavovit, and she didn’t appear to be a friend of anyone by the end of the season. Despite her struggle to fit in with the rest of the cast, Kavovit says that she feels she held her own pretty well, and it was great to learn how to be around “these types of women” and still have a sense of self.

De Lesseps recently appeared on SiriusXM’s The Michelle Collins Show, and when the subject of Kavovit’s replacement came up, the cabaret singer shot down rumors that Pool was coming on board. As fans may remember, Pool is an ex-girlfriend of de Lesseps’ ex-husband Tom D’Agostino.

According to Reality Blurb, Singer had been campaigning to get Pool on the show, but de Lesseps said that Bravo was going in a different direction.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen,” de Lesseps explained. “I think they already cast somebody else. Can’t tell you who, but I think they did!”

Collins followed up by trying to get more details from de Lesseps, but the countess wasn’t having it. She said she didn’t know much about the person, and she couldn’t reveal if the newbie was married or single.

If Pool were to join the cast, it would cause some serious drama. She briefly appeared during the Season 9 finale to talk to D’Agostino, and he admitted at the time that he still gets “choked up” when he sees her, even though he was engaged to de Lesseps.
