Luke Bryan did not hesitate to troll his friend, Blake Shelton a little, much to the amusement of their fans. According to him, the only reason why anyone’s even listening to the country crooner’s songs is the fact that he’s dating Gwen Stefani!

It’s no secret that, lately, Blake Shelton has been having a lot of success, his music appearing higher and higher on the charts and Luke believes he’s solved the mystery as to why that is – his romance with Gwen Stefani!

He might just be on to something since Blake and Gwen have collabed on two very beloved quarantine songs which are widely considered massive hits!

It really appears that the five years long relationship has been just as fruitful career-wise as it’s been personally for Blake and his pal could not help but tease him for owing his success to Gwen.

Yesterday, Luke took to his Twitter account to tell Blake that ‘Your girlfriend’s the only reason why people are listening to your last two singles [Nobody But You and Happy Anywhere.]’

It did not take the country singer long at all to clap back, playing along by joking that: ‘Hey, don’t hate just cause I know how to work the system!’

Blake’s not the type to get his pride hurt by something that after all!

As you probably remember, back when Nobody but You hit number one on the country music charts, Blake took to his platform to congratulate his lady love for that milestone.

‘Congratulations @gwenstefani on your first country song going #1 at country radio!!! Not bad for your first try!!!!! Thank you all as well!!! #nobodybutyou.’
