Lupita Nyung'o Tight-Lipped About Netflix Film Featuring Rihanna

Lupita Nyung’o isn’t giving up any details on her upcoming film with Rihanna. However, it is in the works.

A tweet went viral in 2017 of the 36-year-old and the 31-year-old sitting together at a fashion show. A Twitter user noted: “Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scams.”

Both Lupita and Rih agreed that they’d sign on to the movie if it was a real thing.

Needless to say, many people confirmed that they would love to see a film follow that storyline. Before you knew it, Ava Duvernay and Issa Rae were confirmed to be working on the idea that has already been picked up by Netflix.

When asked about the project during an interview for the new horror hit ‘US,’ Nyung’o responded coyly: “I can tell you absolutely nothing about that.”

Although there’s no information available about the heist movie, fans are appreciative to know that it is absolutely happening.

Meanwhile, ‘US’ has already set a new box office record for a horror movie by pulling in over $70 million in its opening weekend.

Lupita opened up about working with Jordan Peele.

“It was a dream of mine to work with [Peele] and I didn’t expect it to come true so soon. When I started [working with him], I had to deal with the fact that I revered him and reverence kills creativity. So I had to get over that real quick. I learned very quickly that Jordan is a team player, he’s intelligent and his intelligence doesn’t come from an egotistical place… He’s interested in making the best work possible.”

Lupita continued: “I loved working with him.”
