Madonna Drops Spanglish Maluma Collaboration “Medillín” Video To Premiere Live On MTV

Madonna has officially drooped her collaboration with Maluma, marking the first new song from the singer in over four years.
It is a whole new era of Madonna, and one fans have been waiting on for a long time. The new tune, ‘Medillín’ combines the style of the two artists, dance for her and island vibe for him. Fans are in for a real treat with this tune, as Madonna sings and raps in Spanish and English.
Their first partnership together is named after the capital city of Columbia, ‘Medillín’ as the reggaeton singer Maluma wanted to pay tribute to his home country. Although their partnership might appear a bit unusual, the two-sound killer together and have been working hard to create their fabulous sound since meeting at the 2018 MTV VMA’s.

“Madonna and I are cooking there together, making some beautiful songs. I’m very excited. That’s a huge step for my culture, for Latin culture, it’s very, very big,” Maluma revealed to Forbes toward the end of last year.
Fans will quickly notice the new song has a similar vibe to her 1986 song ‘La Isla Bonita.’ It was a different sound for the pop icon back then, but after years in the business, die-hard fans are used to Madonna switching up her music consistently.
Along with dropping the new track, Madge shared the video for the first track off of her upcoming Madame X album, will debut in an exclusive live premiere on MTV on Wednesday, April 24th at, 4 PM EST. The event will take place in London, with Maluma calling in from Miami, so he and Madonna can chat with stars like Sway Calloway and DJ Trevor Nelson.

Madonna continues to rule the world, we’re thrilled to be with her once again live from our Camden studios to world premiere her incredible collaboration with Maluma, ‘Medellín,'” announced Bruce Gillmer, head of global music and talent at Viacom, which is the parent company of MTV.
Madonna and Maluma have dropped their new Spanglish collaboration, Medillín. It will undoubtedly get fans in the mood for Madge’s new album, which comes out on June 14th. The 60-year-old songstress has been teasing her latest track and LP the past few days on her Instagram account.
