For about a year now, Meagan Good has fans wondering if she had decided to bleach her skin.
It all started after the talented actress was pictured at the premiere of the movie, Black and Blue, and her backers noticed her lighter skin tone, and the rumors started spreading.
This week, a fan called out the Think Like a Man star in a message that read: “Megan looked better dark skin… She not so pretty anymore she looks average… But her dark skin was above average… Why did she bleach.”
Meagan decided to be entirely honest and confessed that she did accidentally bleach her skin and added: “I didn’t, Queen. A (unbeknownst to me) unlicensed aesthetician gave me a product to correct a sun damage mark on my forehead that messed up the skin. By the grace of God only; I’m about 80% through recovery and regaining my color daily,” she said. “To be honest, it was a beyond painful and traumatic experience because I would never wish that on anybody. I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t continue to spread assumptions and rumors. God bless you.”
One fan told the star: “Megan looked better dark skin… She not so pretty anymore she looks average… But her dark skin was above average… Why did she bleach? 😭😭😭”

Another commenter stated: “One since when was Megan ever “dark skin,” she looks like she did in eves bayou… From your comment, I would think she went Sammy Sosa in the ’90s to Sammy Sosa now (nothing against Sammy) 😔I don’t see the difference. She’s still the same beautiful Megan.”

This supporter revealed: “You’re terrific for responding his way!! I don’t know how you stay so awesome when there is so much crap thrown at you and others who are always in the spotlight!!! 💗 Keep it up!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼”
This followed shared: “She didn’t bleach. You must’ve just found out who Meagan good is. She’s been acting in major movies since a kid. Stop hating. She looks gorgeous here, and this looks like her original brown skin. I don’t think she was ever a dark-skinned sister. But I could be wrong. I forgot about the bleaching thing when watching this.”

This fifth comment read: “But wait a minute. She was never really dark-skinned. Google any pictures of her. And besides, she was and is still very pretty. She looks the same. @meagangood you are beautiful. Last thing ……if anyone wants to beach their skin, that is their business. Hit the unfollow button, so you don’t have to see what you dislike, ma’am or sir.”
Is Meagan telling the whole story?
