Meek Mill and Milan Harris just had a baby boy. Coincidentally, it also happens to be the 33-year-old’s birthday today, so Meek Mill was able to celebrate two big events at once. Hot New Hip Hop reported today that many of his celebrity friends have been sending well wishes on his big day.
On his Twitter account, however, Meek Mill stole the show away from his birthday by announcing the happy baby news. The rapper wrote that “Milano” dropped him off a “king” on his birthday. He went on to say it was the “best gift.”
It’s a joyful time for Meek Mill, although, he already has two children from prior relationships with Rihmeek William and Murad Williams. Over the last few weeks, Milan took to her IG account to share photos of her burgeoning baby bump.
For instance, this past week, she dropped one photo in which she was wearing a facemask that she got from the doctor’s office. She claimed she hadn’t gone into labor at that time. It was back in December that Harris first revealed she was pregnant in a long IG post.
Ironically, the news came at a time when Meek was fighting with his former girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, on Twitter. They got into a fight at a clothing store.
Putting the melodrama aside, Meek has appeared to turn over a new leaf ever since he was released from prison. The rapper and Jay-Z have been working together to help criminal justice reform through their organization, Reform Alliance.
It’s the latest organization to tackle the prison system in which many black men are incarcerated. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the two rappers combined together to make a donation through the group amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Many prisons have seen their own outbreaks. Stars such as Tekashi 6ix9ine, Bill Cosby, have all asked for early releases and claimed they were suffering and at risk of death on account of the COVID-19 spread.
Bill Cosby’s rep said that the former comedian would likely die in prison if he contracted the virus.
