For the past weeks, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been holed up in their California mansion. The royal couple fled Canada and settled in California before the traveling restrictions due to the coronavirus took place.

A source told E! that the pair has been pushing ahead with their careers, but their priority is their 10-month-old son, Archie.

The person in the know shared: “Like many parents, they are focused on Archie and their family as well. They are trying to make the best of it and are enjoying all the time together as a family, he loving doing FaceTime playdates with other small children they have in their lives, their young child “brings a great deal of joy in these scary times.”

In the meantime, Meghan and Harry, who recently announced the news of their royal split, are keeping in touch with the family in London, mainly after Prince Charles tested positive for the coronavirus.

Another source said: “Meghan wants Harry to remain close to his family, and there’s no question about that. It’s been a tough time, but at the end of the day, he still loves his family, and that won’t change and hasn’t changed. He has always been close to his grandmother, and he very much wants her to have time with Archie, he loves seeing them together. It was sad they couldn’t bring Archie over on their trip, but it was the sensible choice, and everyone understood. They do want to go back as soon as they can to remedy that, though. They would love to take Archie back in the summer and spend time with her at Balmoral. Right now, they can’t make any real plans, though, and things are too uncertain. But when they can safely take Archie back for a visit, they will.”
