No matter what Meghan Markle does — drama seems to follow and sometimes through no fault of her own.

This week, Victoria Mather, a British reporter, caused quite a commotion after she appeared on live TV and more or less called her trailer trash.

Mather was an MSNBC guest, and she was being interviewed while in London when she was asked to share her thoughts about Meghan and Prince Harry’s big return to the UK for their farewell tour.

The Duchess of Sussex and her husband shocked the world in January by revealing their decision to step back as senior royals, become financially independent, and move to Canada with their baby boy, Archie.

Mather, who is not a fan of the Duchess of Sussex, said she has been “disrespectful” to the British royal family and Queen Elizabeth II.

The reporter explained: “I think what has really, really upset the British public is that Meghan Markle, who many people consider as only, you know, five clicks up from trailer trash, has actually tried to disrespect the queen. And the queen is the most respected person, most respected woman, in the world.”

This is not the first time that the reporter has lashed out at the former actress. In late 2019, she penned a piece where she called Markle “the Duchess of Excess,” and said Harry was “the naughty boy we loved, the soldier who served bravely in Afghanistan” who is now “the Prince of Wokeness.”

She wrote: “Catherine [Duchess of Cambridge] comes from a stable, close-knit family. Meghan comes from a sadly dysfunctional family, leading her to be unpleasantly trolled as trailer trash. Her soi-distant acting career most recently included a part in a cable-TV series — filmed mostly in Canada, no less! It’s not exactly Grace Kelly, but the British public willed her to be a similar fairy-tale princess.”
