According to new reports, Meghan Markle is once again straying a little bit from royal conduct by supposedly hiring a doula, aka a birthing partner, to help her welcome her and Prince Harry’s first addition to the family. Check out the details on how the royal couple is getting ready for the due date this spring!

US Weekly reports that the Duchess is making her own rules when it comes to her first birth so royal tradition will just have to be forgotten for this particular event in her life.

As a result, the new outlet claims she has hired herself a birth partner, something the rest of the royal family hasn’t done.

But the former actress is going with whatever feels right for her, regardless of the rules.

Her doula is apparently named Lauren Mishcon, a 40-year-old mother of three and she will be there to hold Meghan’s hand and guide her through the birth, The Sun reports.

Another job a doula has it to help a mother deal with the stress and worry of the birth while pregnant.

In addition, she will be guiding her breathing exercises and positions during labor that apparently can even reduce the labor time by two hours!

The Sun also claims there will be a midwife present when Meghan gives birth as well.

Furthermore, Lauren is currently coaching Prince Harry on how to care for his wife during labor too, the news outlet states.

Meghan and Harry chose Lauren and it was not a coincidence.

The doula is married to Oliver Mishcon, whose grandfather was a lawyer at the firm which handled Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ divorce back in 1996.

About the reports on her role in Meghan’s pregnancy, Lauren told the outlet: ‘I am obviously not at liberty to talk about who, or who might not, be my client. So I can’t possibly . . . I wouldn’t be able to talk to you about anything.’

However, she did post on a doula-related message board online, that ‘I’m busy in Spring.’
