Holidays are to be spent with family and close friends and it seems like this is also what Thomas Markle wants this season – to have made amends with his daughter Meghan by the time Christmas comes. Earlier today, the man stopped by ITV’s Good Morning Britain and while on the show, he revealed that he really hopes to fix his relationship with the Duchess in the next couple of weeks!

As you know, Thomas and Meghan have not been on speaking terms ever since her wedding to Prince Harry back in May.

That being said, he’s apparently, been texting her every single day and has even sent handwritten letters to Kensington Palace without any success as she is yet to contact him back.

But who knows? Maybe there’s going to be a Christmas miracle and Thomas will be able to see his daughter soon.

‘[Meghan] has always been a really controlling person and that’s part of her nature, but she’s never been rude. She’s always been in charge. I have been ghosted. I’m not sure why this is happening. I love my daughter very much. I wish that she would reach out, send me a text, anything. There just has to be a place for me. I am her father,’ Thomas shared with the host.

During the interview, he also sent her a direct message.

Looking into the camera, he told Meghan: ‘I love you very much. I’d like to hear from you. Whatever difficulties we have had I hope that we can work through them. We are family. I’d think [Queen Elizabeth] would want to solve any family problems. All families, be it royal or not, need to be together, especially during the holidays.’

He went on to make it very clear that he will not be silent for the rest of his life.
