The two were not invited, and their appearance was definitely not a pleasant surprise. Meghan McCain opened up about Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner attending her father’s funeral!

As you know former Vice President John McCain lost the fight with a brain tumor at the age of 81 back in August.

That being said, many Americans mourned his tragic passing including Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared, who showed up at the funeral despite not being welcome!

While on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week, The View co-host Meghan McCain got candid about what she felt when she saw Ivanka and Jared there.

Colbert recalled part of the eulogy the pained daughter delivered at the funeral and wondered if she knew the Trumps would come to pay their respects since it sounded ‘pointed!’

‘We gather here to mourn the loss of American greatness. The real thing, not some cheap rhetoric from men who’ll never come even near the sacrifice that he gave so willingly,’ Meghan said at the time, seemingly slamming the current administration.

McCain responded that not only did she not know, she was also not happy at all that they showed up unexpectedly.

‘A funeral is a sacred time, and I thought my family made it clear, at least I had, that the Trumps are not welcome around me. My father was clear about the line between the McCains and the Trumps. I was very surprised they were there, and it made me very uncomfortable. And I hope I made them uncomfortable with everything,’ Meghan explained.

She went on to make it as clear as possible that ‘the Trumps have beefed me then’ and that their feud will never end.
