Melania Trump Unveils Gorgeous White House With Christmas Theme The Spirit Of America — See The Photos

Fresh off the heels of enjoying Thanksgiving in Florida, Melania Trump returned to the White House in time to oversee the directions for the Christmas theme “The Spirit of America.” The First Lady has drawn tremendous praise for her Christmas decorations and this year’s theme includes a patriotic flair including flag-styled ornaments with stars and strips. On Sunday, December 1, 2019, First Lady Melania Trump shared a video that showed the Christmas decorations.

Melania looked gorgeous in an ivory coat and dress with white heels. She walked through the White House halls giving viewers a brief tour of the decorations.

She shared the video with her 3.5 million Instagram followers and included the following caption.

“The Spirit of America” is shining in the @whitehouse! I am delighted to share this beautiful exhibit of patriotism for all to see, and excited for everyone to experience the beauty of the #Christmas season!”

President Trump and First Lady Melania have made it clear that they will continue to use the word “Christmas” throughout the holiday season.

Melania also shared a photo slideshow with the public that showed the festive scene that is now established inside of the White House. Melania Trump released a statement where she spoke about this year’s chosen theme.

She stated the following.

“When I travel the country, I am inspired by the hard working people and families that I meet. No matter which state they call home, many Americans share a strong set of values and deep appreciation for the traditions and history of our great nation. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers who worked to make sure the People’s House was ready for Christmas.”

In addition to the patriotic theme, the First Lady also included an ornament that read Be Best — which is her three part initative to address children’s and teen’s emotional well-being, online bullying, and opiod abuse.
