Mercedes 'MJ' Javid Gets Candid About Her Delivery Complications That Almost Killed Her

Last month, MJ Javid gave birth to her pride and joy, a son named Shams but while she couldn’t be any happier about welcoming the baby, it turns out that the delivery was horrible! During a new interview for HollywoodLife, the Shahs of Sunset celeb opened up about the experience, revealing all!

MJ almost lost her life during delivery but now that she is out of harm’s way and the mother of a beautiful boy, she was willing to talk about it.

While in attendance at Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies Mother’s Day Brunch, the reality TV star chatted with the news outlet, sharing that ‘The baby was healthy and delivered via an emergency c-section, and I lost a lot of blood. They had to give me…it was a total of 19 blood products and they brought me back.  I was in the ER and I lost blood and I guess I just continued to.’

It turns out that it was so bad the doctors had to put her to sleep.

‘When I woke up and I found out what I had been through I was like…’Woah, that is a lot.’’

And since she experienced such a dangerous delivery, she needs to recover and catch up on sleep, which is why ‘We have help on most nights. The nights that we don’t have help it’s like a painful, exhaustion. [Husband Tommy] is almost as hands-on as me. He’s great. He didn’t have a relationship with his dad when he was younger, he wasn’t present, so here we are. He’s really stepping up.’

As for introducing the baby to the world, something fans have been anxiously waiting for, the new mom assured them that the pics are coming ‘soon.’
