Michael Jordan And The Jordan Brand Donated $1 Million To Morehouse College's Journalism And Sports Program

The Shade Room reveals that last year Michael Jordan announced that he and the Jordan Brand would pledge $1 million over the next 10 years to a variety of nationwide organizations, and he’s staying true to his word.
TSR notes that ‘According to @espn, the organizations chosen are dedicated to ensuring racial equality, social justice, and greater access to education. The Jordan Brand will focus on increasing its work in communities across the U.S. to provide access to education and create opportunities for future generations. In addition, supporting organizations that work to ensure policy change in local government.’

TSR also noted that ‘Yesterday it was announced that Michael and the Jordan Brand are giving $1 million to Morehouse College’s journalism and sports-related programs. The funds will be used to elevate their scholarships, technology, and educational programming for students.’
