Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s families reportedly don’t think the former couple is ready for a divorce just yet.

E! News is reporting both the Cyrus and Hemsworth families think the long-time couple should take some time before deciding on divorce. After all, the singer and actor have split in the past, only to find their way back to each other.

Hemsworth and Cyrus’ romantic history has been a turbulent one over the past ten years. They broke off their engagement, dated other people, and eventually reconciled a couple of years later. A source close to all parties involved is spilling the famous families believe the exes are not ready for divorce. It is because of their past that their families think they’re not ready for divorce.

“Their families have urged them to take some time to breathe before they make any final decisions. They are both upset about how this has blown up and are both hurting right now,” a family insider revealed to E! News.

“Miley got back in the studio and was focused and serious about her new music. Liam was continuing to party with his friends. They used to party, but Miley outgrew that phase,” the source revealed.

Although reports state the exes famous families want them to take a breather before talking divorce, no one from either family has not shared their thoughts on the subject.

However, Brandi Cyrus, who was on the Italian vacation with her sister and Carter, did not gloss over the split on her podcast, Brandi’s Your Favorite Thing.

“It’s not my business to talk about, and it’s nothing anything of mine to tell. There’s nothing I can really say. I just, I’m here for her, obviously, and I’ve been spending a lot of time with her. When she’s ready to talk about it or whatever, then she will,” she explained to co-host Wells Adams.
