Miley Cyrus Predicted She'd Be Married At 26 Ten Years Ago

Us Weekly was the first to point out that, in an interview with Glamour Magazine in 2009, Miley Cyrus offered an eerie prediction regarding the future of her relationship. Last month, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus got married and a recent report showed that Miley actually had a prophetic mind.

The 26-year-old Hannah Montana alum was 16-years-old when she spoke with the publication in their 2009 cover story. It was the first time ever that she was on a magazine cover. When asked where she hoped to be in ten years, Miley said she’d be “settled, making movies, living in a house, maybe even married.”

Since those days have gone by, Miley has completed much of her goals, however, she has focused more so on music rather than films and television. But it was her role in the 2010 movie, The Last Song, which allowed her to achieve two of her goals.

On the set of that film, Cyrus fell in love with co-star, Liam Hemsworth, and they first got engaged in 2012. They broke up a year later but got back together four years later in 2016. The 29-year-old actor and Miley moved into a Malibu home as a couple the same year.

Miley wrote her 2017 single, “Malibu,” about her soon-to-be-husband and their home together. Unfortunately, in 2018, wildfires swept through California and their house was destroyed. A source who spoke with Us Weekly claimed that fiery tragedy led to their decision to get married.

After enduring such a loss, Miley and Liam became closer than ever and chose to tie the knot. Currently, the insider explained, Miley is considering having kids, but she isn’t pregnant at the moment. She does want to settle down and have children, however.

In the same interview, Cyrus said she wanted to be the “cool mom” that all of the kids go home to. Speaking of moms, Cyrus said in an interview recently that her mother actually loves smoking pot, and she has almost led Miley to get back into it.

The star admitted that her mother has been having all kinds of entrepreneurial ideas about marijuana. Whether any of them will come to fruition remains to be seen.
