Rumor has it that Miley Cyrus never intended to find love again so fast after her Liam Hemsworth divorce! Apparently, the singer and actress was ‘taken by surprise’ herself by how fast she fell in love with Cody Simpson.

On the other hand, Cody got exactly what he wanted, one insider report claims.

As you remember, back in August, Miley announced that her short-lived marriage with Liam was over and in October, she was already caught on camera kissing Cody.

It seemed like a rebound relationship at first, especially since they were already friends, but it turned out to be so much more!

An insider shared with HollywoodLife that ‘Miley has always been more of a relationship kind of girl, she loves having someone special in her life and she always falls hard. When she and Liam split up it was due to issues in their relationship, not because she wanted to go on some wild dating spree. She also wasn’t expecting to have a boyfriend so soon either, she wasn’t looking for that at all, this whole relationship has taken her by surprise in the best way.’

But their romance escalated fast and it was all thanks to Cody’s dedication: ‘Cody has gone above and beyond to win her heart and has worked hard to convince her to get serious with him. He’s stepped up to the plate and has been there for her in every way pretty much from day one. The way he treated her when she was sick [with tonsillitis in early October] was just beyond sweet.’
