Miley Cyrus To Honor Godmother Dolly Parton At Grammys — Country Legend Is Musicares Person Of The Year

Miley Cyrus is many things to different people but to Godmother Dolly Parton she’s simply Miley. Cyrus will be seated near Dolly Parton at the Grammy’s and fans are already sharing their excitement to see the two at the awards show. Dolly Parton is this year’s Musicares Person of the Year and there will be a special tribute to the eight-time Grammy winner. Not only will Dolly be honored, but she is going to perform new music at the Grammys.

The last time Dolly performed at the Grammys was 2001, so this marks a very special time for both Godmother and Goddaughter. Miley will also perform and participate in the tribute to Dolly. Dolly and Miley performing at the Grammys together is truly a special event.

Katy Perry, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, and Little Big Town will perform some of Dolly Parton’s hits.

Dolly Parton is enjoying continued success with her song “Girl in the Movies” from Dumplin’ earned four nominations including a Golden Globe nom for best original song.

Miley’s fans are so excited to see her and Dolly at the Grammys, they’ve been active on social media sharing the latest updates.

Fans were also quick to notice that BTS will be sitting behind Miley and Dolly and there’s a great expectation that there will be plenty of camera attention zoomed in on each.

Fans are also hoping to hear Miley Cyrus sing her new hit song “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.” Though there are strong indications the public will hear Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson, and Shawn Mendes on a new collaboration.

There are photos circulating social media showing the three rehearsing for their Grammy performance after Mark Ronson shared the photo to his official Instagram account with the caption, “Man, these kids sound dreamy together.”
