Mindy Kaling Welcomes Summer With New Viral Photos

Mindy Kaling is welcoming Summer with some new photos that have gone viral. In the first set of photos that Mindy shared to her official Instagram account, the 39-year-old actress, comedian, writer, and producer shared photos from a previous Vanity Fair shoot. Mindy can be seen resting in a field of yellow wildflowers on an incredibly bright, sunfilled day. Wearing a yellow blouse with a vivid floral print, Mindy’s outfit was the perfect complement the natural scenery. Mindy chose natural tones for her makeup with a smokey eye and perfectly arched eyebrows. Her lipstick was a matte, nude color lined in a rich mocha.

In the second photo, Mindy is again in a field of wildflowers only she is standing and wearing a dark sundress. The dress also had a floral print. The sun’s glow was so strong, there was a perfect yellow haze to the left of the picture that simply screamed summer.

Mindy chose the following caption for the pictures.

“Sun so bright 🌞🌞🌞 #TBT @vanityfair.”

In another photo, Mindy looked cool and refreshing as she held an iced drink, wore a sun hat and posed in a gorgeous Shoshanna dress.

Mindy chose the following caption.

“Swapped the carrot for a drink because duh it’s summer 👩🏾‍🌾👩🏾‍🌾👩🏾‍🌾.”

This photo was also taken outside and was a wonderful testament to summer’s beauty. Mindy paired the dress with a Gucci belt and a matching chain link bracelet.

Mindy opted for a bolder look with her makeup and chose a soft, matte red lip with dark kohl liner for her eyes.

Mindy may not be on Hulu with The Mindy Project, but don’t make the mistake of thinking she isn’t busy. Mindy’s relationship with Hulu is secure and she’s currently launching the upcoming Hulu series Four Weddings and a Funeral. The 12-episode series premieres on Hulu on July 31, 2019. Mindy Kaling co-created and executively produces the series.
