Earlier this year, Miranda Lambert bought a luxurious New York City condo for herself and her new husband, NYC cop Brendan McLoughlin, and the newlyweds often take strolls together around the city. But, when cameras recently caught the couple out and about in the Big Apple, the images in the pics were shocking. Lambert had a huge bruise on her left outer thigh, and now fans are wondering if everything is okay in Lambert’s marriage.
Lambert wore a white tank top and ripped denim shorts, and it was impossible not to notice the massive bruise. But, the Little Red Wagon singer didn’t seem to care.

According to Radar Online, Lambert and McLoughlin say that they are still in love and their relationship is going strong even though they secretly got married back in January just a few weeks after they met. Blake Shelton’s ex-wife has also been posting pics on Instagram recently to show fans just how happy she is with her new husband.
In a recent interview, Lambert said that her marriage to McLoughlin has re-energized her, both personally and professionally, and that is evident in her new song Locomotive. The fast-paced country-punk song is less about revenge and more about finding the right man to spend her life with.
“‘Cause I’m sweet tea sippin’ on my front porch sittin’ / While my hubby fries chicken and I’m picking these strings / I’ve been down on my luck but I ain’t given up / Well I totaled his truck but he loves me just the same / Oh he gives me wings, oh he gives me wings,” Lambert sings in the chorus.
Lambert said that she took some time off for herself after her 2016 album The Weight of These Wings, which was about her divorce from Shelton, and living life and just being a person was what she needed. She says staying off of the road and taking the time to write was something she enjoyed.

The singer says that she has been working since she was 17, and there was a point where she got tired. But now, she has more energy than ever and her fire is back. Lambert added that she feels like the girl from The House That Built Me era.
The 35-year-old says that she is “really happy” in her new marriage. Even though she has had ups and downs in her life she still loves love, and now she has finally found the person who loves it as much as she does.
“It just works,” says Miranda Lambert.
