Miranda Lambert Packs On The PDA With Brendan McLoughlin After Playing Mom

Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin recently attended the 13th Annual ACM Honors in Nashville, and the newlyweds weren’t shy about showing their affection for each other. Both Lambert and McLoughlin smiled for the cameras as he held her waist, making it clear that they are extremely happy and very much in love.

Lambert wore a black mini dress with purple pumps, while McLoughlin kept it casual in a white t-shirt and jeans, along with a gray and white plaid blazer and orange sneakers.

According to Radar Online, McLoughlin has taken a leave of absence from his job as a New York City police officer so he can travel with his new wife. The country singer met her man while he was on the job. He was working security and crowd control when she made an appearance with the Pistol Annies on Good Morning America last November.

GMA hosts Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer have even joked about being matchmakers, and they say that McLoughlin is a “nice young man” who is “so happy” with Lambert.

Just three days after they met, McLoughlin welcomed a son with his ex, which contributed to her “homewrecker” reputation. But, now that she and McLoughlin are married, Lambert has taken on the role of stepmom, and cameras caught the couple with baby Landon in New York City earlier this month.

“My stepson is amazing,” said Lambert “I’m loving that whole phase, and I’ve raised a million dogs, so I feel like I’ve got that part of my womanly/motherly thing is full, so this is a whole new journey. It’s great… I was like, ‘Hey, I got the dogs, you got the kid, we can mix and mingle.’”

McLoughlin and Lambert secretly dated for less than three months before they got married in late January. Blake Shelton’s ex-wife surprised fans when she announced the nuptials on Valentine’s Day.

The newlyweds are splitting their time between Nashville and New York. Lambert has a large home with property outside of Nashville, and they also purchased a luxurious apartment in New York.

Miranda Lambert is back on tour, and she recently performed at Harveys Outdoor Amphitheater in Lake Tahoe. Earlier this summer, Lambert joked about taking eight months off, saying that they will never let her take a long break again because she does weird things like get married.
