Naya Rivera Search Continues With 'Sophisticated' Sonar Technology

Naya Rivera, the former Glee star, suddenly disappeared on Wednesday night during a trip to Lake Piru with her 4-year-old child. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Naya, 33, took her child out on a boat trip but never returned.

Authorities discovered the vessel and found the little boy on the boat by himself, with Naya nowhere to be found. Naya’s son reportedly said to investigators that they had gone swimming in the lake, but she never returned to the boat.

Now, there is a massive hunt for the actress after she went missing this week.

At the moment, Hot New Hip Hop claimed, the police don’t suspect foul play or suicide, and it appears that her sudden disappearance may have been accidental. They still haven’t found any of the actress’ remains.

A new development today focuses on the technology the Ventura County Sheriff and the police department are now using to find her. The Ventura County Sherrif wrote on his Twitter account that they are now using “sophisticated sonar equipment” to find the actress.

Fans of Rivera know she had a 4-year-old son, Josey, with Ryan Dorsey, whom she broke up with back in 2018. Her disappearance has come as a massive shock to the entertainment industry and many of her former boyfriends and friends.

For instance, Tahj Mowry, took to his social media account today to commemorate the loss of Naya, claiming that she was his first experience with loving someone deeply. Mowry added that it was a nightmare, and to call it that was an “understatement.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that her ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, reunited with their 4-year-old child not long after she went missing on Lake Piru. Photographers spotted the actor in California on Thursday, the 9th of July.

Pictures obtained by The Daily Mail showed the actor wearing a black t-shirt, a baseball hat, and sunglasses as he took Jose to his vehicle. The outlet noted that Josey was smiling as his father carried him to his car.
