NeNe Leakes At War With Cynthia Bailey! RHOA Star Claims Bailey's Engagement Is Fake And Just To Secure A Peach

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey recently announced that she and her boyfriend, Mike Hill, are engaged, but her co-star NeNe Leakes has her doubts. During an appearance earlier this week on The Talk, the hosts asked Leakes about Bailey’s upcoming wedding, and the RHOA star dropped a major bombshell.

According to Leakes, all of this wedding talk is Bailey’s attempt to secure her spot on Season 12.

“I would announce the same thing if I was trying to get another season on the show.” NeNe told The Talk co-host, Eve.“Everybody has to have a storyline.”

Then, when co-host Sheryl Underwood asked Leakes if she was saying that Bailey’s relationship with her sportscaster boyfriend wasn’t real, Leakes replied, “I’m not saying it’s not real. I’m just saying, people do anything for money, honey.”

According to People Magazine, Leakes and Bailey’s friendship crumbled at the end of Season 11 when Bailey invited Kenya Moore to her party without giving Leakes a heads up. Moore had originally declined the invitation, but Kandi Burruss convinced her to go. Then, a hot mic caught Bailey trying to cover things up, and Leakes concluded that she and Burruss were trying to take her down.

Leakes said that she thought she and Bailey were real friends and sisters. And, “betrayal is the most hurtful thing.” Leakes made it clear that she and Bailey are no longer friends.

The discussion on The Talk then turned to part one of the RHOA reunion which aired last week, and Leakes said what surprised her the most was Eva Marcille coming after her. The Glee alum explained that she didn’t do anything to make Marcille say those words, implying that they came out of nowhere.

Leakes also revealed that she now hates doing the reunions, even though she was the one who created them. She says that every time she walks on to the reunion stage, she knows there is a gun pointed at her head.

However, the reunions won’t keep her from returning for another season. Leakes says that RHOA is her show and she started it, so her co-stars need to receive it and accept it. And, the only way she wouldn’t return is if producers didn’t want her back. But, NeNe Leakes made it clear she won’t let any of her co-stars take money out of her pocket.
