Nene Leakes Has Never Looked Better On Her 52nd Birthday

Today is the day the Queen of Real Housewives of Atlanta was born. The birthday girl celebrated last night with her closest friends including frenemy Porsha Williams and took to Instagram to share a gorgeous photo earlier in the day.

Nene appears in a feathered robe and black lingerie with blonde tresses and professionally done makeup.

She captioned the snapshot: ‘Sagittarius! One time for the birthday chick.’

She received lots of birthday wishes from fellow Bravolebrities and even more from fans.

‘Out here looking better some of these 20 year olds ❤️ happy Birthday,’ one fan wrote.

‘Happy birthday @neneleakes wishing you many more,’ chimed in one.

A fan page of hers added: ‘YASSSSSS MOTHHAAAAA❤️ Slay My Life… HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN.’

There were some skeptics who pointed out that the image may have been photoshopped.

‘The filters making her look insane. She forgets about the TV show we see her on,’ wrote one follower.

‘Stay away from that knife girl. You are beautiful just the way you are,’ warned another.

This fan questioned: ‘Why does she look different?’

This has been a challenging year for the RHOA personality. She had to stand by her husband while he faced the fight of his life battling stage three colon cancer.

The actress was turned into a caretaker and the disease not only did a number on his body — it affected their marriage too.

Earlier this year Leakes opened up about facing depression and even taking medicine for it.

Additionally, she faced criticism from the audience watching who thought that she was making her husband’s sickness more about her than it was about him.

To make things worse, her friendships with some of the girls were broken and not all of them have been repaired. However, through all of the turmoil — Nene stood strong.
