NeNe Leakes Isn't Refusing To Film RHOA, She's Refusing To Film With These Two Co-Stars

The ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta have started filming Season 12, and a rumor has started swirling that claims Bravo is forcing NeNe Leakes to sit out the first part of the season because of last year’s “Closetgate” incident. However, a new report claims that Leakes is refusing to film with Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore because she “is not going to let them stir the pot.”

Leakes – who is the highest paid Housewife in the franchise – lost a lot of friends at the end of last season, most notably Williams. Leakes was not happy with Williams for allowing Moore into the season-ending party, despite the fact that Bravo had fired the beauty queen for hiding her marriage to Marc Daly. Then, during the reunion, Williams claimed that Leakes put her hands on her during the Closetgate incident when Williams was very pregnant.

“NeNe is refusing to film with Porsha and Kenya,” an insider told Radar Online. “NeNe knows that they all just want to use her for fights, and she wants no part of it. Porsha made claims that NeNe grabbed her when she was pregnant during the infamous closet fight, but the unedited footage shown during the reunion vindicated NeNe she believes.”

The source added that Leakes wants nothing to do with Williams, and she knows that Moore is only coming back for the drama, which she refuses to entertain. The insider also explained that the ladies are mad that Leakes doesn’t have to film scenes that make her uncomfortable, but they did.

Williams, Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Marlo Hampton, and Eva Marcille have all started shooting their scenes for the upcoming season. But, Leakes is still sitting out even though she has a $2.85 million contract.

This is also causing problems, says the insider, because the ladies don’t think it’s fair that the highest paid person on the show is doing the least amount of work. When Moore agreed to come back to RHOA this season she had to take a massive pay cut. After earning $1.5 million in Season 10, she will only make $500,000 for Season 12. Meanwhile, Williams’ salary increased from $1.25 million to $1.3 million.

As for those rumors that Bravo was forcing Leakes’ to sit out the first part of Season 12 as punishment for Closetgate, her rep has vehemently denied those claims.

“I can say with authority that there is absolutely no truth to this. The only reason why she’s not currently shooting is because she is still in active negotiations with her contract,” said the rep.

We already know NeNe Leakes has negotiated her salary for the upcoming season. Could those “active negotiations” be about filming with Williams and Moore? Fans will have to wait and see.
