Nene Leakes Reacts To Wendy Williams Public Diss: 'Public Disrespect And Private Apologies Don't Mix'

Wendy At Home viewers were shocked when Wendy Williams called Nene Leakes out for calling her during an Instagram Live session. The Real Housewives of Atlanta has responded back to the talk show host she considered a friend.

Nene has been going Live on her profile for days on end interacting with fans. During one Live, she called Wendy to chat and even told her viewers to tune into the hostess’ show.

Little did Leakes know, Williams thought that she was being used for entertainment purposes.

She blasted her on Youtube stating: ‘Honestly, here’s where the ambush comes in. She said, ‘Wendy, look’ — she was in hair and makeup and wardrobe with all her people — she said, ‘We filming and I want you to be on the speaker.’ I said, ‘NeNe, I did that for you one time.’ Remember my appearance? One time!’

She even went as far as to say that being on Housewives is ‘slumming’ it.

The clip went viral and was picked up by many blogs.

The Glee alum returned to social media to tell her fans that she will be doing another Q&A but made sure to say that she would not be answering any questions concerning Wendy.

She also said that hashing out things on social media won’t benefit her at all and she wishes Wendy would have come to her instead of bashing her on the public platform.

Nene ended her commentary by saying she’s a loyal friend and she won’t be arguing with anyone publicly unless she’s getting paid to do it.

Shortly after, it seems that the media maven may have tried to reach out to her because Nene posted a message to her Instagram that read: ‘Public disrespect and private apologies don’t mix.’

She ended it by promoting her new single slated for release on April 12th.
