NeNe Leakes Reveals Whether She's Leaving RHOA Or Not

According to a report from Page Six, Nene Leakes isn’t actually leaving the Bravo TV series, Real Housewives Of Atlanta, anytime soon. Speaking with Vic Jagger on the Majic Radio Show, the 51-year-old reality star explained she was never “suspended” from the show, moreover, there is no spin-off series in the production process either.

NeNe said to the host of the show, that she hasn’t been told of whether she’s getting a spin-off or not, so if she did, they should probably tell her. Leakes went on to add that she hasn’t filmed anything new lately, despite reading such a claim in the media. NeNe said if it was the truth, she’d be happy to tell her fans.

Previously, fans began wondering if NeNe was on her way out from the Bravo TV series because she ended the 11th season in a bad place with other women from the production. The 52-year-old, Cynthia Bailey, said NeNe’s friendship with Porsha Williams wasn’t going so well.

Furthermore, Cynthia claims Leakes sent Williams a “fat-shaming” text message which made reference to some altercations on Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Page Six claims a representative for Leakes confirmed that she delayed filming because of contract negotiations, furthermore, there isn’t any behind-the-scenes turmoil.

According to a report from UPI.com, rumors of her suspension began after the final episode of Season 11 when Leakes tried to thwart a cameraman’s attempt to get into her closet while at a party.

Leakes told her co-stars not to go into her closet, but Kandi and Porsha did anyway and a cameraperson went in as well.

During an appearence on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen back in March of this year, NeNe said she doesn’t believe she overreacted by ripping the man’s t-shirt. The star said it was impossible for one to overreact in one’s own home.

Leakes was firm in her boundaries, saying that if a person says not to go somewhere in one’s home, it’s the responsibility of the guest to abide by those rules. Some people on social media were on her side, while others claimed ripping the man’s clothing was not necessary.
