Nene Leakes Says She Does Not Have An Open Marriage!

Nene and Gregg Leakes have been through the wringer in their decades-long relationship. After comments made during interviews and a shocking report, Nene is setting the record straight on whether or not she has an open marriage.

The talk all started last year when the Real Housewives of Atlanta star asked her followers a question about what is considered to be cheating. Earlier this year, the reality star was a guest on a podcast where she revealed exactly what her question was about.

It turns out that Gregg was texting one of her Swagg Boutique employees. Both the now-former manager and businessman said that there was nothing inappropriate going on.

During the same Lip Service podcast, Nene got candid on what she thought about her husband seeing other people.

‘If Gregg wanted to go be with somebody right now, I would say go right on. Why am I going to try and keep him from doing something that he wants to do? Then I have to make a choice myself — if I want to stay with him or not — and I probably would stay with him. I do what I want anyway … I’m in New York, he’s in Georgia, so whatever he’s doing, I don’t need to know about it.’

Not long after, Page Six shared a detailed report on Nene allegedly already having a boyfriend that she sees often.

The Broadway star recently chatted with Extra TV where she cleared things up.

‘No it’s not [an open marriage] I think the reason that people think that is first of all there is an age difference between Gregg and I… I have been with Gregg since I was 28 years old. He was young and I was young so now they think that since he has gotten older are they doing anything in the bedroom. The answer is, we’re doing a lot in the bedroom.’

She went on to say that she is a flirt and her husband is okay with that.
