NeNe Leakes’ recent message on her social media account has some fans proud of her and others saying that she’s being egocentrist. Check out her message below.

‘Cancer changed our lives! I’m stronger today,’ NeNe captioned the post.

More people accused her of only thinking about herself. For instance, this follower said: ‘Lmfao damn you are heartless!! Dgaf about Greg. We can tell.’

But other people defended NeNe and said that only someone who has been a caretaker could truly understand the struggle.

A fan said: ‘I pray for you every day. Only if you’ve been through it you know how it is being someone’s full caregiver.’

Someone posted: ‘For those with negative comments, don’t have a clue what they’re talking about! You have to be in that hell to truly know! There are doctors, nurses, teams of people around the actual patients, for our partner/and families? You don’t know if you haven’t gone thru it. I am a survivor.’

Another commenter shared their own experience: ‘Wanted to share with you, my parents were married for over 30 years and when my father went through his 2nd bout with cancer they gave him some meds and explained it would cause him to basically be a lot different… it was quite an experience. My dad was super chilled, nice, funny, and mild-mannered. How the meds caused him to change in a blink of an eye was so difficult to handle. Our mom took the brunt of it cuz she was closest to him. Many are unaware of how this challenges the strongest couples.’

The follower continued and said: ‘Breaks are needed, a team is necessary, so the ones closest can regroup and get back in the fight at times. This is a fight for life on a level most will not grasp until it hits their home. We pray for you, I just wanted to share that with you to say there are ppl who know the battle is fought by many, not just the person who has the illness. Thankful for his healing and your family being able to make it through this together no matter what! It is possible!!! Keep going, none of us know the totality of your journey.’
