During Nick Cannon’s new job as Wendy Williams replacement on her show amid Wendy’s health crisis, Nick Cannon took some shots at Jennifer Lopez – the former nemesis of his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
In the past, Mariah and Lopez were rumored to have feuded, and Carey’s comments to paparazzi one day that suggested she didn’t even know who the star was, added fuel to the already-vivacious gossip.
Following Cannon’s replacement of Williams on her hit daytime television talk show, the actor/comic stirred controversy in a number of different ways, including suggesting he would fight actor, Liam Neeson, in a celebrity boxing match, despite the fact Liam is 66-years-old.
This was after Liam did an interview with The Independent in which he revealed once harbored viciously racist thoughts toward black men after someone close to him was raped by a black male. Liam admitted he worked hard at overcoming such irrational and deleterious thoughts through counseling and even speaking with a priest.
Putting that aside, Nick was hosting the Hot Topics portion of the show, and the star revealed three of his biggest celebrity crushes. In the process, the star apparently took some shots at Jennifer Lopez – reports the celebrity gossip site, BET.com.
Among the women he liked the most, Nick said that he loves Halle Berry, Naomi Campbell, as well as his ex-wife, Mariah. You can watch the clip of him below:
When asked if J-Lo would make it onto the list, Nick said, “I don’t know her,” echoing Mariah’s famous line. This won’t be the first time a celebrity has referenced the line either.
Andy Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, once joked that he didn’t know who Kathy Griffin was when reporters asked him about her controversy involving the photo in which she held a beheaded Donald Trump.
While most people got the reference, Kathy Griffin didn’t, and she subsequently released a fiery video on YouTube in which she accused Andy of being a virulent misogynist as well as a cocaine-addicted Hollywood executive who abused his power in the industry.
