Nick Kroll Discloses That the Wail of His Infant Disrupted Brendon Fraser’s Standing Ovation
Kroll went on Late Night with Seth Meyers and talked about how his son, who is just two years old, caused Brendan Fraser a lot of stress over the weekend.

The actor took the overnight flight from New York with his wife Lily Kwong and their 20-month-old son Leo to attend the occasion.

Kroll said, “Your greatest nightmare is that you fly with a child, and your youngster is going to be loud and disagreeable on the plane.” Leo was inconsolable and screamed for nearly the entire duration of the red-eye, despite the best efforts of several kind-hearted travelers. So don’t worry about him getting any shut-eye.

A man dressed like a classic Italian Mafia boss emerges from the plane as we touch down in Venice. He’s wearing a seersucker suit and a Panama hat. He’s displeased that my kid cried through the whole flight, he went on.

When I finally reached the baggage claim area, I knew it wasn’t a mob boss. But, yes, it’s Brendan Fraser, and he’s livid.

The family would hear from and even see Fraser again that weekend. Actress Natasha Lyonne was the next person Kroll informed about his son’s antics on the plane, but she’d previously heard the story.

When I answered, “my kid cried a lot,” her response was, “that was your kid on the plane?! So it turns out that Brendan Fraser has been gossiping about how he didn’t get much rest on the plane since my son was sobbing the whole time. It’s every horror you can imagine, and I felt terrible about it.

The cherry on top of the cake was an 8-minute standing ovation given to Fraser following his film The Whale screening.

Brendan Fraser gives an outstanding performance. To put it simply, this is his triumphant return. When the movie ends, he receives an eight-minute standing ovation. Kroll said, “He’s weeping. That feeling of “I’m back, honey” is palpable. That’s right; it’s time for the Academy Awards. Our arrival is imminent.
