Nicki Minaj was forced to issue an apology after her husband, Kenneth Petty, faced backlash for behaving like a bodyguard and shoved famous Trinidadian singer Iwer George at the Trinidad carnival.
The femcee flew back to her native Trinidad and Tobago to enjoy the festivities, but Petty looked like he was preventing her from having a good time.
One fan told the MC: “He gotta stay home next year, he doing too much. Welcome to carnival, Kenny…First of all, SHE SHOULD HAVE LEFT HIM HOME!!!!!!”
Minaj responded by: “Oh, gawd. Allyuh like shit, eh? I go because all yuh real fkn stink yuh know? He doesn’t understand anything about our culture. I apologize on his behalf. He’s always in security mode. All love. Love my country to death. Love my ppl to death. Period.”
She added: “I should’ve told him it’s a very comfortable family atmosphere. He’s never been to a carnival in his life. Not even in Brooklyn, babe.”
Minaj set the Internet on fire recently, as the renowned rapper updated her Instagram page with a new short video clip that made people think she might have a twin.

It appears the 37-year-old musician spent some time bonding with her family, as in her Instagram post, she seemed to be smiling side by side to her little sister and father.

However, the most exciting thing for fans of the “Super Bass” performer was the fact that the two sisters looked so much like each other that they could be mistaken for twins.
Besides, Minaj also added an adorable filter effect to the video, which was captioned lovingly with “My Dad & lil sister Ming,” and as a result, the faces of the two siblings appeared to be covered with red kissing lips all over.
The footage opens up with Minaj and her little sister smiling to the camera, and later, at some point, the recording device is turned around to show their father walking by.
The post was instantly liked by thousands of fans of the famous rapper, and many voiced their opinion that the sisters looked like twins.
In addition to praising the beauty of Minaj and Ming, some followers also complimented the rapper on spending time with her family.
The video clip was posted shortly after an unexpected tragedy struck in Minaj’s life, as it was reported that Pop Smoke, a colleague, and friend of hers, was brutally gunned down in the Hollywood Hills.
Back then, a devastated Minaj took to Instagram to dedicate some words for the late rapper, whose life was taken at the young age of 20.
