Nikki Bella Dishes On The Theme Of Her Baby Boy's Nursery, While Revealing Her Biggest Fear About Becoming A Mom

Nikki Bella is just days away from welcoming her first child with her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, and she recently dished to Mini magazine about the design of their son’s nursery. The two-time WWE Divas Champion revealed that they “went with a moon and stars theme,” and she explained how she landed on that decision.

“I wanted something very soothing and meditated and also day-dreamy. I just want my boy to get lost in the stars,” said the 36-year-old mom-to-be. “We have a lot of gray and blues throughout the nursery and dark wood. It’s super handsome!”

Bella revealed that she decorated the nursery with star wallpaper, and even she gets “lost in them.” She says that she will go sit in her son’s room, and it “just feels magical.”

The retired pro wrestler added that some of her favorite parts of the nursery are the quotes and artwork on the walls, and there is also a big half-moon nightlight that she is in love with. Bella is also a big fan of her new Silver Cross stroller, as well as the SNOO bassinet that she received, which was “the one bassinet she was looking at.”

Bella also dished that Chigvintsev bought her a Gucci diaper bag, and she is “obsessed.” She says she wants to try and keep her fashion up to par as a mom, and the diaper bag is a good place to start.

The Total Bellas star admitted that she has already bought too much when it comes to her son’s wardrobe. She says she is “obsessed with solid patterns,” but she’s “not crazy about loud prints.”

Bella is sure that her son will “definitely be well-dressed,” and she has already bought two pairs of Nikes – which she describes as “so cute” – so he can “be like Mommy.”

In the midst of all the excitement, Bella admits she is scared about becoming a mom for the first time. She says the one thing she is scared of most is “protecting your own,” adding that moms always want to be by their kids’ side to protect them.

The most important part of being a parent, though, is showering her son with a lot of love, says Bella. She is determined that she and Chigvintsev will make sure their son has the right tools to grow into a “kind, caring, respectful man.”

Bella also wants to set a great example for her son because she wants him to be a “shining light in this world.”

As fans know, Nikki and her twin sister Brie are due within just one week of each other, and she says that she has depended on her sister a lot during her pregnancy. Nikki is thankful that she has had a “sober buddy in lockdown” so she hasn’t been tempted to drink wine.
