According to some court transcripts, it turns out that late rapper Nipsey Hussle and the man suspected of killing him, talked about ‘snitching’ not too long before he was shot and killed. This revelation comes after some grand jury transcripts were unsealed yesterday.
The information comes from a witness who claims that Nipsey told suspect Eric Holder about some speculations that the latter had snitched about the Rollin’ 60s gang.
He also supposedly said he would take care of the situation.
The witness in question that testified this is none other than the rapper’s friend Herman Douglas.
As for the gang, it is known that Douglas, but also Holder and the late rapper had been linked with it at some point in time.
And Douglas is not the only witness that claims the victim and the suspect chatted about ‘snitching’ since the woman who allegedly drove Holder away from the shooting scene also testified about hearing the same thing.
It is believed by the authorities that suspect Holder killed Hipsey Hussle on March 31, just outside his clothing store in Los Angeles.
However, he has pleaded ‘not guilty’ of murder.
In the meantime, as a result of the tragedy, the L.A. City Council has approved a motion to rename South Los Angeles’ Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard intersection in his honor.
This was achieved because of a petition on Change.org that managed to get almost 500,000 signatures!
It’s definitely a very nice way to pay tribute to the slain rapper who has done so much for the community.
