According to a report from People.com, Orlando Bloom said to Howard Stern on Wednesday that having kids with Katy Perry, who will soon be his wife, would be a great thing. According to Bloom, Katy is “great with kids,” and would probably make a good mother.
Orlando has an 8-year-old son who’s already the step-brother of Hart, Miranda Kerr, and Evan Spiegel’s child. Apparently, the couple is expecting another child as well currently. Speaking with Howard on Wednesday on the radio, Orlando said that he and Katy are considering the possibility of having children as well.
The 42-year-old actor stated, “I love kids, she’s great with kids,” adding that it would be a “wonderful thing,” and he and Katy are definitely “shooting” for a family in the future.
In the past, Bloom stated that co-parenting with his 36-year-old ex-wife, Kerr, isn’t always easy, however, they’ve learned to make it work.

The Lord of the Rings alum said to the 65-year-old talk show host that he and Kerr came to the realization that it was 100% necessary to work things out for the better, because they have a child together, and they’ll be in each other’s faces no matter what.
Bloom joked with the host that his son, Flynn, whom he has with Kerr, might need therapy already on account of their well-known careers. Orlando joked that his step-father is the CEO of SnapChat, his mother is a supermodel, and Katy Perry, the internationally famous singer, will be his future step-mom.
Speaking with People Magazine back in February, a source said to the outlet that Katy and Orlando were already thinking about having kids together. The insider shared that Katy was “slowing down” in her career this past year.
The source close to Bloom stated he and Katy are really going to put the time and effort into making a family happen. Katy Perry, on the other hand, has stated in the past that she’d be open to taking time off from music and touring to be a mother instead.
