Orlando Bloom Opens Up About Being 'So Excited' To Be A Girl Dad As Katy Perry's Due Date Approaches

Orlando Bloom is currently expecting his second child with fiancée Katy Perry and it’s a girl! Since he is already the dad of a boy, the thought of having a daughter is apparently super exciting for the actor and he can’t wait to finally meet her!

While chatting with Jimmy Fallon, Orlando Bloom revealed just how pumped he is to have a ‘little daddy’s girl’ and it is so cute!

As fans know, the happy couple is about to become parents together any day now so the excitement is at its peak for both of them.

While a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday, Orlando Bloom shared with the host that ‘I am so excited to be… to have a little daddy’s girl. I hope she is gonna love me as much as I love her. That daddy girl thing and that love of your life feeling I think is right ’round there.’

The actor is already the father of a 9 year old son with his former wife, Miranda Kerr.

That being said, the boy is looking forward to being the big brother to a little girl too since this is a first for Flynn as well.

‘He has a couple of other brothers, but this is his first sister… He is excited too, so exciting times,’ Bloom told Jimmy Fallon during their virtual chat.

This is not the first time Orlando Bloom raves about becoming a dad again.

He previously shared his excitement on Good Morning America as well, dishing back in July that ‘I am really looking forward to those really late nights when I will be getting up and doing a bottle. I am looking forward to that because I just love those quiet times at night when the world feels like it is asleep and you have a sleeping baby.’
