Oscar Winner Regina King Is Exquisite In Shimmery Black Ashi Studio Couture Dress At American Music Awards

Oscar-winner Regina King presented at the 2019 American Music Awards, but first, she dazzled on the Red Carpet. Styled by Wayman and Micah, Regina wore a shimmery black, couture dress from Ashi Studio’s FW 2019/2020 collection. The dress was customized to hug Regina’s curves and featured an open keyhole front. The material was so shiny that it had a near liquid appearance. It was Regina’s first time at the AMAs and she presented Taylor Swift with the award for Artist of the Year.

Regina shared multiple photos from the event on her personal Instagram account, where she has 1.6 million followers. Regina stated the following.

Celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims styled Regina’s hair that was in a high ponytail that sat atop the crown of her head and extended to the middle of her back. A beaded hairpiece that resembled asymmetrical bangs was situated above her forehead and completed the look with style and elegance.

Regina King wore Niwaka jewelry including their Umeutage earrings, a full set of Kuon rings, and the Suiren ring. She wore Stuart Weitzman heels and looked gorgeous.

Celebrity makeup artist Latrice Johnson did Regina’s face and shared a video of the finished look. She also explained how she did Regina’s makeup and discussed the products she used. Regina’s eyes were a big hit as she has beautifully shaped, almond-eyes and Latrice framed them under a heavy coat of thick lashes that made them pop. Regina’s eye color is more of an amber than a traditional brown and the colors Latrice used truly did Regina justice and highlighted her natural beauty.
