Brianna (Sophie Skelton) is expecting her first child with her new husband, Roger (Richard Rankin), but she doesn’t have the glow of an expecting mother — and for good reason. Outlander just released new photos of a pregnant Brianna, offering fans a first look at her growing baby bump.

The only problem with the images is that Roger, who was taken captive by the Mohawks and escaped only to return to the stones and perhaps the 1960s, isn’t in any of them.

On this week’s episode, fans will watch as Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy) launches a search to find Brianna’s missing husband. But with the possibility of Roger never returning, Jocasta brings in a few locals as potential mates for Brianna.

While Brianna fends off her suitors, Jamie (Sam Heughan), Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and Ian (John Bell) are off looking for Roger.

There is no telling if the trio will find Roger in the next episode, but the photos reveal that Claire and Ian stumble across a clue that might point them in the right direction.

We are only three episodes away from the Season 4 finale, so hopefully Jamie finds Roger before the story wraps in a few weeks.

Apart from the Roger drama, fans will also see the return of David Berry’s Lord John Grey in this week’s episode.

Given John’s loyalty to Jamie, it will be interesting to see how he reacts when he discovers that Jamie has a daughter. With Roger missing, he might even feel the need to marry Brianna so that she doesn’t have to raise the baby on her own.

A new trailer for the upcoming episode also hints that there will be a death in Sunday’s installment. Jamie is shown crossing himself while Claire is giving a solemn look of mourning.

We do not know which character will meet their end, but episode 11, titled “If Not For Hope,” is shaping up to be quite the adventure.
