Unfortunately for the heiress, things did not play out according to plan in her relationship. That being said, Paris Hilton’s engagement was broken before she and Chris Zylka could tie the knot.

However, since the news was announced, people have been curious to know what the woman is planning on doing with the massive $2 million engagement ring she received from her ex-fiancé!

Paris was a guest on Sirius XM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show, and the host couldn’t help but ask about the pear-shaped 20-carat diamond. Will she keep it or not?

Smiling coyly, Hilton replied: ‘Yeah. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. The person who I got it from got millions of dollars of free publicity. So, I love how social media has become like a new form of commercials.’

As fans remember, Zylka popped the big question back in January during a trip with Paris in Aspen.

However, just months later, in November, the woman decided to break the engagement.

Despite initially saying she was excited to start the rest of her life with Zylka and that she even wanted kids ASAP, one insider later shared with ET that Paris felt like their relationship moved too fast and that in time, she realized he was not the one after all.

Last month, while on The Talk, Paris opened up about the split, saying: ‘I’m just really having my me time. I feel that, when I fall in love, I fall in love really fast and hard and it was a whirlwind romance. I have always been obsessed with Disney and love stories, and I thought it was going to be my happy ending. I just realized in time it was not the right decision – but I wish him the best.’
