‘You’ actor Penn Badgley and his wife Domino Kirke were super excited to share the great news with their fans! As it turns out, following multiple heartbreaking miscarriages, the married couple is expecting their first child together!
It was the mom to be who took to social media to tell the world their great news but also open up about ‘pregnancy after loss’ being ‘a whole other thing!’
Penn and Domino tied the knot back in February of 2017 and are thrilled to announce that they are finally starting a family together after experiencing a number of miscarriages.
The woman posted a pic in which she was showing off her baby bump and alongside it, she wrote an emotional and raw message about the rocky road that she had to take to get here.
The caption was also filled with love in addition to highlighting all the discouragement she felt after going through the pain of losing two other pregnancies before.
‘On the road again… pregnancy after loss is whole other thing,’ Domino started her message.
She then went on to get candid about how the miscarriages affected her and Penn’s life as a married couple.
‘After two miscarriages in a row we were ready to call it [quits]. I stopped trusting my own body and began to accept I was done. As a birth attendant, I have seen and heard it all. It takes everything I have got to detach lovingly from the losses I have been present for and be in my own experience.’

Domino also opened up about her struggles as a young mom when she was expecting her 10 year old son Cassius, fathered by musician Morgan O’Kane.
‘When I was pregnant at 25 years old, I knew nothing. I had no community. I dove in unaware about birth and its mysteries. With ten years worth of experience to pull from, I treasure my birth community and all the knowledge I have. You are already teaching us how to stay in the day in a way we have never had to, little one. Thank you.’
