According to a new insider report, the romance between Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale has ‘ran its course.’ It seems like their casual relationship has fizzled out, something fans started to suspect as well after not seeing them in each other’s company for a few weeks.

After all, in the beginning, Pete and Kate would be spotted hanging out and packing the PDA a lot.

However, while the romance has naturally run its course, as a source tells E! News, that is not to say they have completely cut each other out since there was no conflict that led to the split.

‘They still talk and are very friendly,’ the insider tells the news outlet.

It was good while it lasted! The casual pair was spotted at hockey games, parties, and it seems like Pete even got to dine with Kate’s parents during their short time together.

So since they were always all smiles while out and about together, why would they want to put an end to it for good?

The insider report claims that ‘When they’re apart they talk a lot and never run out of things to say. He always has her laughing and that is a good feeling to have.’

It sounds like their relationship is very healthy and good for them even when it’s no longer romantic!

During an interview for the Los Angeles Times, the actress, admitted that the attention she got for dating Pete ‘surprised’ her.

‘I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief,’ she mentioned, saying it was a ‘bit tired.’

She also noted that ‘Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference. But it doesn’t really bother us.’

At 45 years of age, Kate is two decades Pete’s senior.
